Evangelism

From the Greek word for “Good News”, evangelism is how we tell our faith story with words (when necessary) and by how we live.

In a class called, “How to share your faith without losing your friends”, we learn how to tell our faith story in a non-threatening, loving way.

At St. Thomas, every member is considered a minister, and every task is called a ministry. We share our faith by doing the ministry God calls us to do and by living faithful lives throughout the week.

The Holy Spirit evangelizes by spreading the Good News of God’s redemptive suffering and love; we just keep the message going. Evangelism is a word that automatically shuts some people down; come and see how it’s a term for all of us.
